Tarrazu is one of the best areas in Costa Rica for coffee cultivation. In addition to optimum soil and climate, the coffee producers in this region are known for producing excellent cherries. Omar and the Calderon family produce an average of 400 bags of coffee each year on 10 hectares of rich volcanic soil. All trees were replanted nearly 8 years ago producing the highest quality and yields to date.
